The school van is our most concrete, most fundable need.
The problem
Most parents cannot bring their children themselves, and the children cannot travel independently by public transport. Families live far from Nelamangala town and cannot afford a daily commute, let alone rehabilitation costs. Without transport, none of the other services reach anyone.
What we run
A 12-seater van, donated by Hitachi Terminal Solutions Pvt Ltd, March 2023, carrying 12 children daily from Nelamangala town and nearby villages. We credit our donor with gratitude — the van made daily school access possible.
Objectives
- Reach 12 identified beneficiaries across Nelamangala town and nearby villages.
- Give persons with disabilities (5 years to adults) access to intervention services.
- Provide special education and multi-therapeutic services from early intervention to livelihood programmes.
- Enable access to disability benefits and services from the Government.
